WD2026 Conference Scholarship Portal sign in – Media & Content Creators Scholarships
Who Can Apply?
Media Scholarships are open to working media globally, including:
– Reporters, editors, producers, and presenters/anchors
– Photojournalists, videographers, and broadcast teams
– Podcast/radio journalists and newsroom social/visual teams
– Freelancers with a commissioning/assignment letter
– Content creators who produce independent, factual coverage on social issues
Priority will be given to:
– Media and content creators with a demonstrated focus on gender equality, health, human rights, climate justice, development, or Oceanic Pacific issues
– First Nations and Indigenous journalists and creators
– LGBTQIA+ people, persons with disabilities, internally displaced persons and refugees, and those from under-resourced communities
– Early-career journalists/creators and applicants who have not previously received a ‘Women Deliver Conference Scholarship’
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship, which includes:
• Full Conference registration
• Hotel accommodation during the Conference (26-30 April 2026)
• Roundtrip economy airfare
• Visa fees and related costs
• Per diems to cover local transportation and daily meals
• Travel insurance
For participants with disabilities who require a support person or adolescents under age 18 who need to travel with a guardian, the scholarship also covers full expenses for one accompanying person. If selected, you will be asked to provide their information at the time of registration.
Key dates
- Applications open 15 September and close on 15 October 2025
- Applications will be reviewed between 15 October and 15 November 2025
- Successful media scholars will be notified by the end of November 2025

• Please note that registration and scholarship applications are separate processes. You do not need to complete a separate registration in order to submit a scholarship application. If you wish to submit a scholarship application, and meet the eligibility criteria above, please proceed to fill out this form.

2. Complete Your Applicant Profile
Once signed in, you will be asked to provide your personal and contact information. This step is required before accessing the full application.
3. Access and Complete the Application Form
After completing your Applicant Profile, you will be directed to the scholarship application form. Here you will find a series of essay questions and document uploads.
Please complete the form thoughtfully and thoroughly. This is your opportunity to share your story, describe your advocacy journey, and articulate your vision for a more gender equal future.
