The Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) will take place 27–30 April 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia. WD2026 will focus on leadership and lived experience of feminists, First Nations leaders, and advocates from across the Oceanic Pacific and the world. Accredited media are invited to cover the conversations, announcements, and community action shaping gender equality globally.
Who Can Apply?
Accreditation is open to working media from around the world, including:
· Reporters, editors, producers, and presenters/anchors
· Photojournalists and videographers
· Newsroom social/visual teams and podcast/radio journalists
· Freelancers (with a commissioning/assignment letter)
· Recognized non-profit and independent outlets
· Content creators who produce independent, factual coverage on social issues
Priority will be given to:
· Outlets, journalists, and content creators with a demonstrated editorial focus on gender equality, health, human rights, climate justice, development, or Oceanic Pacific issues
· Representation from the Oceanic Pacific, including First Nations and Indigenous journalists
· Media serving under-represented audiences and geographies

What Accreditation Includes
· Free WD2026 Conference registration providing access to the pre-conference, plenaries, concurrent sessions, the WD2026 exhibition, and official press events
· Media Centre with workspace, power, and internet
· Media briefings and embargoed press materials
· Interview support: opportunities and assistance arranging interviews with speakers and WD spokespeople (subject to availability)
· Official assets: photos, logos, and press kits
· Visa support letter (upon request, after accreditation is approved)
Please note: Accreditation does not cover travel, accommodation, per diems, or insurance.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed by the WD2026 team in consultation with regional partners. Approved applications will be based on evidence of professional journalism and recent relevant coverage and alignment of your outlet/audience with WD2026 themes. All successful applicants will be notified by email.
